How Can Psychotherapy Help?
When life feels overwhelming, being truly heard and undersood can bring relief, clarity, and direction. You may be feeling: Anxious or overwhelmed – constant worry, on edge, hard to switch off. Low or lost – flat, unmotivated, or unsure where life is heading. Alone or disconnected – struggling in relationships or craving deeper connection. Carrying the past – grief, family tensions, or old experiences that still affect you. Stuck or burnt out – trapped in habits, weighed down by demands, or running on empty. Psychotherapy offers a safe, reflective space to explore what’s happening and begin asking: why, how, and what’s next? My approach is rooted in the idea that the past shapes the present. By noticing and understanding patterns together, new possibilities open: a clearer future, and a life that feels more your own. You don’t need to be in crisis. If something doesn’t feel right — or you’re simply curious to know yourself better — that’s a meaningful place to start.

About William
I’m a psychotherapist based in Central London, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). For over 20 years, I’ve supported people through life’s challenges with a grounded, compassionate approach. My clinical training (MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, University of London) and work in both private practice and community settings shape the way I listen and respond. I offer a calm, confidential space where you can talk openly and begin to make sense of what’s happening. Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly. We can work together short-term or longer-term, depending on what feels right for you. If you’d like to explore whether this could be a good fit, I offer a complimentary 15-minute call — a chance to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it can also be the start of real change. Reach out today — I’d be glad to hear from you.
